Hello Brothers/Sisters,

Today I would like to start a discussion about the impact of Spiritual Growth and Developement. Please feel free to open your minds beyond the tunnel vision of Religion, and share with us, your spiritual insight. Spiritual Principles, " in my opinion", will always create growth and developement in ones life. WHY ? I think it is because, once practice it gives the individual courage to look deep within him/herself. What do you think ? Have you ever taken a personal inventory of your life? In building your relationship with God, " as you may understand ", can you be openly objective about " SPIRITUALITY verses RELIGION " ? Following this discussion i've posted a poem titled, " BELIVERS AT WAR ". Can we disagree and still be men/women of faith, on the same accord spiritually ?

Believers At War




Do I have to believe your beliefs? Must I fear to express a personal point of view?

Am I wrong to reject your Religious Dogma? WHY? I believe in God, too!

The message from God, as you understand, a believer's guideline to go to Heaven or Hell.

Holy Books with scriptures at War, your interpetation says I won't win; I'll fail. WHY? I believe in God, too!

Such War of Words, your facts backed by beliefs, God's definition - from your point of view.

My soul is at Peace, My Faith is satisfied, God's Religion holds truth. I believe in God, too!

God's inspired steps have helped me change, good orderly direction is the path I'm on, in accordance with the rights of life, not accepted by your Book - ain't that taking it a bit to far? I believe in God, too!

Our words from Dogma have turned into Bombs for War, divided because of our differences of Faith and Belief. One thing to remember from the Spiritual Realm: Killing each other is not at all, from my understanding, "GODS WILL."

I've been back and forth between spirituality vs religion on so many occasions. Understand that when I say occasions I actually mean life events--life's inevitable events; such as death. I try desperately tohold on the idea of life after death because of the loss of loved ones that I NEED to know that I'd enjoy their wonderful spirits again; but unfortunately I grasp at air when I logically realize that after death "awareness" leaves the vessel *Body* and returns to the Source.
Now here's the tricky part where is the Source and what does the source do with these souls of loved ones? Folks that have gone through higher levels of education--through the scientific process of understanding that religion was put in place to create civilization usually find themselves between a rock and a hard place.
My Spiritually tells me that I must KEEP THE FAITH that I became aware through some force and through that same force I will lose awareness. And whatever happens beyond that no one knows because in truth no one can know --Some rocks are best left in tact; some rocks do not necessarily have to be examined. I'm on a tangent lol
